You have second pair, king kicker. You probably have the best hand most of the times, right? - [Phil] So I love the bet sizing here. He bets one third of the pot with jacks up.
He really doesn't want to lose his opponent, Antonio. His opponent could have a seven with an eight kicker. - [Antonio] Well, he knows his opponent just check called the flop, right, so he's probably not very strong. So he doesn't want to run him out of the pot. - [Joe] Yup, Josh Gibson does not call, he's raising. - [Antonio] I would not be raising. - [Joe] 1.25 million, what's wrong with the raise? - [Antonio] Well, the story just doesn't add up. What hand did he call with on the flop out of position and now, he's check raising the turn. It just doesn't make any sense. - [Phil] I hate the check raise. It just puts you at risk for a lot more chips than you really want to have involved. - [Joe] And obviously, we're getting a smooth call here from Prociak, whose hoping to pick off maybe a bluff on the river. He's going to be happy to do so, as he fills up. So Gibson now checks, Prociak is going to make a value bet, how much do we think it's going to be? - [Phil] 1.5 for me. - [Antonio] Couple million. 2.2, 2.3, maybe two thirds of the pot. - [Joe] So 2.4 million is the bet. Gibson thinking about getting kind of hero-y here. - [Phil] He has a easy fold here. Easy, oh, what is he doing? He can't beat anything, why would you call that? You can't even beat a seven? - [Antonio] This is why we play poker, Phil, this is why we pay the bills. - [Joe] Gibson raised under the gun with queen, jack suited, he's just been three bet and the money all goes in here. - [Antonio] It almost seems as if this is a frustration play from him. He knows his opponent's not folding, given the amount of stack sizes, so I really don't like this play with queen, jack. - [Phil] I hate this play with queen, jack, maybe take a flop. - [Antonio] I agree. - [Joe] Well, he is going to take a flop and a turn and a river and he is dominated and that is it, so few outs for queen, jack by the river. The crossfit guy has been crossed off. - 9.5 million dollar pot for my pick, Antonio. How you like me now? - I'm a little nervous now. - How you like me now? - I'm nervous now from frog legs to worms, my life is over. - Hang in there, Antonio, back to you guys, Dave and Maria. - [David] I can never get enough of Phil Hellmuth. - [Maria] I can. - [David] We are heads up. Jacob Bazely is our chip leader, pretty sizable lead. Those placards, do you like placards? - [Maria] I do, they feel very Monte Carlo-esque, James Bond to me. - [David] Bazely's going to raise here with queen, jack of hearts. Prociak with the ace, six off suit. - [Maria] The usual tank here by Prociak. - [David] He's a deliberate player, we like to call it. - [David] All in.
